Our Founder
My name is Cachamar Christie Volcy. I am the founder of Réva.
Fashion found me before I ever found it.
Growing up in Haiti I was that girl. Always dressed up, always put together, always the one with the cutest carnival outfit. I was obsessed with clothes, shoes, jewelry — all of it. I used to steal my cousin's clothes and hide them just so I could change into them at school. That love for fashion wasn't something I learned. It was just always in me.
At 11 years old I moved to the United States. A new country, a new language, a new life. But that little girl who loved getting dressed? she came with me.
I never studied fashion. I never went to design school. Everything you see in Réva is self taught. Born from passion, late night, and an obsession with figuring it out.
Last year something shifted in me. I can only describe it as a spiritual awakening. Like something inside me finally said — it's time. Stop dreaming about it and build it.
So that's what I did.
I stayed up late nights researching. Looking for vendors. Learning the industry. Teaching myself everything I didn't know and there was a lot I didn't know. There still is. But I refused to let that stop me.
I started Réva because fashion has always been my first love. And finally I chose to love it out loud.
The name Réva was inspired by the French word rêve — meaning dream. Because this brand is my dream. Built by a Haitian girl who never forgot where she came from and never stopped believing in where she was going.
Our first drop is dedicated to Haiti. To the island that shaped me. to the culture that dressed me in my finest before I even knew what fashion was. The blue and red in every stitch is a love letter to home.
I am still learning. I am still building. But I am no longer waiting.
This is Réva. And this is just the beginning.
